The Russell Anderson Development School was launched in 2012 with the goal of improving and increasing the provision of football development within recognised socially deprived areas of Aberdeen.

Through structured sports and fitness programmes, plus the participation in fun exercises, the children involved have the opportunity to develop communication, social and life skills, whilst improving their knowledge about the importance of physical activity and nutrition.

We are committed to having full transparency within our organisation and we will guarantee to adhere to best practice as outlined in the Fundraising Code of Practice.

"I'm extremely fortunate to have enjoyed playing football for such a big part of my life and have seen the benefits it can bring to so many people.

I hope that by taking part in the programme the children will enjoy themselves whilst also benefiting from the beautiful game.

Our aim is to create an environment which will allow the children to develop their skills, balance and coordination along with their general level of fitness which will have a lasting positive impact and help them to become healthy, confident individuals."
